It’s All Gone Quiet Over There - A View From Hammers United

At West Ham, even before the pandemic, we’ve seen so many of our time-served and most vocal supporters calling it a day as far as their longstanding matchday rituals and relationship with their team are concerned. Many more may now be contemplating whether they continue to embrace our team and our game as we become accustomed to the “new normal” of televised football.

Vexed without wishing a row. Do you actually like GSB and how we are run as a club??

If so, sweet, that is your opinion.

I was no Hammers United fan at its inception, but fail to see what they have done wrong.

The Burnley game was was hardly pussy footing around.

Vexed, and Vicky are 2 spinless, bottom feeders, getting off on all the attention, best to just ignore them!!!

Vexed ,the march worried them very much. They were very unhappy about it and dreaded the next one.The media coverage our protests started most definitely worried them.

Next you'll be hitting them hard and fast with a 'savage' leaflet campaign.

Would almost certainly be more effective than the two years of poncing around you've done so far to be fair.

A social distant gathering with as many carefully placed placards and flags for the Villa game would get Press and remind them.

Next Level LIES. Relying on goal difference competing with Watford and Villa.

With Covid regs relaxed and only a few hundred from 1000s needed, it can be managed and pulled off. They will only hate media coverage and being embarrassed and uncomfortable.

Canning Town Len has been relentless, clever and great viewing on the Net, otherwise they have got off so lightly despite more Hammers online daily.

I am no social media pro, but isn´t that the new way of getting the message spread and support.

Vicky
When you can get 8500 real west ham fans to join you on your walk people on here might start listening to you until then shut the fuck up ⚒

I was neither drunk or disorderly on the march along the green way and didnt see any one that was

Re: It's all gone quiet over there.-a Hammers United View.
HU have achieved nothing positive.

If encouraging people to get drunk and disorderly on the GREENWAY is seen as some sort of positive achievement then I fear for the organisation.

Villains Ramsgate and Swallow had more of a positive impact with their group.

Re: It's all gone quiet over there.-a Hammers United View.
So you now think HU achieves nothing but also think they are the cause of the dissent which is "a big part of why we are where we are in the league"

So which is it?

If you have a better way of doing things we are all ears.

“Vicky you say you’re not happy with the current situation but what are you doing about it?”

I’m gonna arrange a WALK from the Salmon and Ball down Cambridge Heath Road to The Hare.

I reckon that’ll achieve about as much as what HU have managed.

Re: It's all gone quiet over there.-a Hammers United View.
Vicky you say you’re not happy with the current situation but what are you doing about it?

The HU team have gone to much expense (prior to the set up of the fund) and put in many hours of their personal time to create positive change all the while doing their upmost not to disrupt the team’s performances. Give us an example as to where you feel that hasn’t been the case?

If you think they can go about their business in another way then you are welcome to put yourself forward to join the committee and make your point. Taking cheap shots on an online forum is not particularly useful. Mobilising almost 10,000 people is no mean feat.

If you know your onions you’ll be aware that Bubbles is highly respected amongst the old school West Ham fraternity and his intentions are nothing other than doing his best for the real supporters of West Ham.

Vicky, shut your fucking toxic gob.
If you sincerely believe that the protests against our owners are the reason we are in the shit, you clearly are a deluded GSB lover boy.

Re: It's all gone quiet over there.-a Hammers United View.
Vicky ,people said that after 2 years ago a march could never be achieved, the fans could never be united. We got 8500 men, women and children out.-good natured,no arrests. Many who went said it was the best day for years,West Ham's family coming together, united as one.it is disappointing that as a West Ham fan you pour derision on that.
